Wysocki, Charles - 1928 - 2002

Sadly Charles Wysocki passed away July 29th of organ failure, following complications from surgery from a longtime stomach ailment.

Love, patriotism, celebration and the good old days are themes in much of his beloved American art. Inspired by primitivism and American folk art, he painted idealized images of homespun America. Since the 1960's, he created more than a thousand painting. Over his career a steady stream of honors acknowledged his success and popularity.
